When my oldest lecidrhn were little, we made a prayer journal with construction paper and pictures cut from old magazines which were ultimately placed into a 3-ring binder we had. I would share family requests with the lecidrhn (e.g., our family was expecting a new baby and we were maxed out on the number of seats in our current car so we needed a mini-van) and the lecidrhn would find a picture or photo that represented the request and glue it to that particular page. We would write in additional details related to the request and later would write the date of prayer answered in big, bold permanent marker across the page.When it was time to pray, we would pass the notebook around and let each child pray for the next-in-line request and then pass the notebook to the sibling next to them. It’s funny how we ALL remember the prayer request for the mini-van and the very unexpected way God answered the request but not many of them remember the actual mini-van; they remember the picture in the prayer journal!

I have tried to journal. Usually hwatever notebook/spiral/post it note pad happens to be handy. NOT very organized.I have several journals/blank books and sadly, they are still blank. Afraid to start using them and realize i’m not doing it right’ or hwatever. I love the idea of a seperate page for each person. my only trouble (being sidetracked and a perfectionist) is .what happens when that page fills up. Especially with children, I can see filling a page in one session on a few of my children. then the next page for that same person will be several pages away from the original. Am I making this way too complicated? Though I don’t know why I worry, since I have started to take notes’ during prayer time for our church’s intercessor group that I am a part of.I love your materials and your blogs. Though I have realized I have missed a few being out of town. Need to catch up.Thanks again. Love this idea. Time to dust off one of my blank books. Or perhaps buy a new one.

i am asking for prayer for strength for a number of reasons today.my familys financial state is in turmoil as we have several bills on a late/disconnect. lights and car payment,especially,and have probably exhausted last options for help. lights will be off in 9 days without help, we just cant seem to get caught up. help me pray for
jobs for my wife and son, even possibly myself and wisdom to get things under control. thanks

I am writing to ask for help to pray in regard to someone who I care very deeply for. Something’s going on with his health, but I haven’t been able to get any information about what that is. I would just be happy to know for certain whether this person is alright.

Please pray that God will open the door so I may receive information as to what has happened. Please also ask God to bless the situation and bring His blessing and healing into whatever this may be.

Everybody please pray…my daughter-in-law, has run off with my 2 precious granddaughters, Halie Marie and Faith Lee. Please pray for the safe return of the girls to my son. Beside stealing the girls she has taken all of his food and his money. The daughter-in-law was raised in santeria, and her brother is a convicted child molester, who is not allowed to be around children. Please pray for our grandkids to be returned safely and quickly.

please pray for Connie Bowden, He is having a parole hearing on the 10th of May.Please pray that God will bring him home to his family.His case was completely dropped in court but he still has to go before the parole board. Thank you

THEY JUST ANNOUNCED 20,000 PEOPLE IS OUT OF WORK DUE TO THE ECONOMY AND IN BEHALF OF MY FAMILY I WROTE A PRAYER I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE AT THIS TIME WITH EVERYONE PLEASE KEEP THIS PRAYER GOING AROUND hy there do you have any food stamp there is no work anywhere and my faamily hungry and i do not know where the rent is coming from and i do not know where the lights money comming from but i do know one thing as long as i stay on my knees god will move mountain when there is no mountains to move thats why i just stay here on my knees because i love him my NEW PRAYER Dwan Lee we have 20,000 people here in florida on food stamp because of the economyAND OUT OF WORK.
